Food, Drink & Shopping
Groceries

Several supermarkets/, shops and bakeries are 5 5-minute walk. Please remember to check opening hours.
The market, also a 5-minute walk, operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays. From fresh fruit & veg, cheese, meat to bread and even clothes - you get everything there.
Other options include
a bigger supermarket called Carrefour, a 4-minute drive, or 10 minutes on the bus (4 stops).
ordering online via Uber Eats (just make sure you can meet the driver by the gate).
Restaurants and Bars
There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars in the area. Everyone will find something here from vegan, and Japanese, to Italian and traditional French (including a Michelin star one!) - the choice is huge. Our personal favourites are:
Les Garcons
Dry
Espuma (try the chaocal pizza)
Your morning coffee is best enjoyed in the apartment but if you are going out, the closest cafe is Anauel Le Surcouf Henri on the main road.
Shopping
Regarding galleries, antiques and souvenirs, Villefranche-sur-Mer has plenty to offer.
In the old town, especially along rue du Poilu, you'll find numerous small shops selling clothing, jewellery, handbags, and other souvenirs. The colourful alleyways and historic charm make shopping here a delightful experience.
The antique market is at François Binon Garden and Amélie Pollonais Square every Sunday 0700-1700.
