Our family apartment is located in Villefranche-sur-Mer, a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, historical intrigue, and modern amenities.
Villefranche-sur-Mer is a charming seaside town located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region on the French Riviera, just a short distance from Nice and Monaco. This picturesque town is known for its stunning natural beauty, colourful buildings, and rich history.
The village is nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding hills, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The town's harbour is one of the deepest natural harbours in the Mediterranean, and the old town is characterised by narrow, cobblestone streets lined with pastel-coloured houses, creating a postcard-perfect setting
The Apartment
The apartment is a large studio (40sqm) with a private terrace (15sqm) and its situated in a gated development, on the basement floor.
One king-sized bed and one sofa bed, sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children.

The views from the terrace are stunning. A parasol, dining table and chairs as well as two sun loungers are available,
Pet friendly
Pets (small and medium) are welcome -please ensure they are calm and comfortable at all times during your stay.
The building has access to the residents' pool and communal parking.

Location
From / to Nice Airport
Tram + Bus
Take tram L2 from outside of Terminal 1 or 2, ride all the way to the end of the route (Port Lympia). Cross the road and take bus number 15 or 600 to Saint Esteve, stopping just outside the apartment.
Train
Walk from the airport to the Nice St Augustin train station and take the train to Villefranche sure Mer. Walk from the station through the old town.
Taxi / Uber
You can easily book an Uber or taxi from both Terminals 1 and 2.
It’s also possible to book a transfer through us - depending on the day and time, we have a friendly driver available. Contact us for more information.
All amenities are close by and you don't need a car to get around.

Stunning Scenery
The town's location on a large bay with turquoise waters and lush gardens makes it a visual delight.
Historic Charm
Explore the medieval streets, including the famous Rue Obscure, dating back to the 13th century. Or visit the Citadelle Saint-Elme, a historic fortress offering panoramic views of the town and the sea
Plage des Marinieres is the main beach, known for its white sand and clear waters, perfect for swimming and sunbathing. There is also La Darse, as well as a few smaller beaches.

Nightlife
A bit quieter than Nice, but still buzzing and with a lot of bars and wine spots, including La Grande Cave de Villefranche, the Welcome Hotel and Archill's.
Delicious Cuisine
The town boasts a vibrant food scene with many restaurants. For self-catering there is a number of bakeries, shops and a market on Wednesday and Saturday.
From hiking up Mont Boron, to walking along the coast to Nice (wear good shoes), there is plenty to do for the active types.
Hikes and Walks
Skiing - yes you read that right!
You can do a day on the slopes! There are a few options, with the closest being Isola 2000. Only 2 hours by shuttle bus from Nice will getyou there (Dec-Apr).
The Rothschild Villa
Visible from the apartment's terrace, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is a great place to visit nearby - bus 15 will get you from door to door.
If you are into your perfumes or just want to buy a nice scent/soap, head to Eze Village to visit Fragonard or Gallimard for a tour of their factory, perfume workshop (book in advance) and some shopping.

Rates shown are for 2 people staying (recommended occupancy.
For any additional person (adult or child) an additional charge of € 100 per week will be added (i.e. for a booking for 3 people in August for two weeks, the price is €1,750 +€200)

Terms and Conditions
Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit.
Minimum stay - 1 week.
Deposit
A deposit of 25% of the total booking amount is required to secure the reservation.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the arrival date will receive a full refund of any payments made.
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the arrival date will forfeit the full deposit.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in time is from 3:00 PM.
Check-out time is by 11000 AM.
Damages
Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay.
Costs for damages will be fully covered by guests.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of EUR 200 is required upon check-in.
The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days of check-out, provided no damages are found.
Extra Charges for Pets
Pets are welcome with prior approval.
An additional charge of EUR 50 per pet, per stay, applies.
Guests are responsible for any damages or extra cleaning required due to pets.
House Rules
No smoking inside the apartment.
Please respect the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM.
The pool is open May-September
Payment
The remaining balance is due upon arrival.
Payments can be made by bank transfer.
Liability
The owners are not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings.
